Expectations of Rulangnites
- Pupils should internalise and display the school D.A.R.E. values of Self-Discipline, Adaptability, Respect and Empathy.
- Pupils who are Singapore citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Pupils will take the Pledge with the right fist placed over the heart.
- Pupils are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed.
- Male pupils must be clean-shaven and neat in appearance.
- Pupils should be kind, caring, honest and hardworking.
- Pupils must practise inclusivity and be respectful and courteous to their teachers and one another at all times.
- Pupils should take good care of the school property and all things that belong to others.
- Pupils must keep quiet and walk in twos in an orderly manner when moving along corridors and staircases.
- Pupils should behave well in and out of school to uphold the name of the school.
- Pupils must complete all written assignments and projects and hand them in on time.
- Pupils must return library books and any equipment loaned to them on dates due without having to be reminded.
- Pupils are not allowed to borrow money from fellow classmates/schoolmates or lend money to them.
- All pupils are not allowed to have in their possession any weapon. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which is used or intended to be used to cause harm to others.
- Pupils must not make derogatory, defamatory or vulgar remarks both in speech or writing against any member of the school community.
- The school adopts a zero-tolerance policy for any form of bullying behaviours - we will not tolerate, condone or ignore physical bullying, verbal bullying, relational bullying, cyberbullying, harassment or hate incidents of any kind.
